Concept
「MALION vintage（マリオン ヴィンテージ）」は、石田栄莉子と清水亜樹が2016年11月にスタートした日本のファッションブランド。
「MALION」とは、ヨーロッパの人名「MARIA（マリア）」と「MARIO（マリオ）」を掛け合わせた造語であり、「MARION」ではなく「R」を「L」に変換することで、「RIGHT」から「LEFT」へシフトさせるという意味を持たせている。
デザインは、メンズライクなものを好む石田栄莉子と、フェミニンなテイストを好む清水亜樹の感性を融合。「誰かが大切にしていたものに、新しい息吹を」というコンセプトで、メンズのネクタイやツイードジャケット、フィッシャーマンニットやデッドストックのシーツなど、ヴィンテージアイテムを買い付けて再構築し、まったく新しいコレクションへと昇華させている。
MALION vintage was started in November 2016 by Eriko Ishida and Aki Shimizu.
The word “Malion” is inspired by the European names Maria and Mario, but by replacing “r” with “l” it hints at a shift from “right” to “left.”
Our designs are a blend of Eriko Ishida’s taste for menswear and Aki Shimizu’s more feminine sensibility. Working from the concept “Breathing new life into things that others cherished,” we gather together choice vintage items such as men’s neckties, tweed jackets, fisherman sweaters, and deadstock shirts, which we then elevate by reassembling them into entirely new garments.

杉野学園ドレスメーカー学院ファッションデザイン科を卒業後、企業デザイナー、バイヤーとして8年間経験を積み、2016年に古着のアップサイクルブランド『MALION vintage』をスタート。 2019年に祖父の材木屋から名付けた自身のブランド『ERiKOKATORi（エリコカトリ）』を始動。
Graduated from Sugino Dressmaker school. She worked as corporate designer & buyer for 8years. Then she launched upcycle brands “MALION vintage”with AKI SHIMIZU in 2016. 3 years have passed, she launched new her own brand “ERiKOKATORi” It was named by a grandfather’s timber shop.
清水 亜樹 | AKI SHIMIZU
高校卒業後、地元のセレクトショップに勤務。その後上京し、「Cher（シェル）」で 11年間バイヤー、店長を勤め、2016年石田と共に『MALION vintage』をスタート。
She worked at apparel shop at Hyogo after graduating high school.
Then she moved to Tokyo and started to work at apparel brand called "Cher" as a buyer and store manager for 11 years.She met with ERIKO ISHIDA there. Then she launched "MALION vintage” with ERIKO ISHIDA in 2016.
